Cleaning Instructions

White Markerboards

All new boards should be cleaned with clean water to eliminate all handling marks prior to initial use.

Periodically, depending on usage, the writing surface should be cleaned with a mild household detergent (avoid abrasive cleaners). Rinse with clear water and wipe dry with clean cloths or paper toweling.

Use only "Dry Erase" companion marking pens. These are the only pens totally compatible to the white porcelain enamel surface.

Should unspecified pens be used with unfavourable results, the boards will have to be cleaned thoroughly, removing all foreign deposits with a cleanser (specified by Martack Specialties Ltd.), then clear water rinsed and towel dried.

DO NOT USE low odour pens - low-odour markers take longer to dry and the ink clings more aggressively to the surface, leaving behind a residue. We recommend solvent-based dry-erase markers..
